These Bluebird bird houses, shown here with a tinted green roof over a tinted cedar color body, has a smaller floor than the standard 4”x4” floor, the smaller floor has been shown to discourage house sparrows.
The roof of these Bluebird bird houses do not hang over on the back of the house therefore allowing it to be hung flush on a post or house (if hung as decoration), it has a hanging bracket to help with hanging. The house has a side clean out door, rough interior, and is ventilated. Constructed out of Maine pine which is protected with an application of water based waterproofer/sealer.
